well ive contacted the guy on the one above as im interested in it, but. hes had it 2 months, he has no log book yet? he has 2 other cars for sale on ebay, he says hes not a dealer though, he said he wants 8K, then in the next breath dropped to 7600 for cash, then he said that its got a 600 stereo which hes taking out, then he said hed leave it in? am i being to cautious or do i just go & buy it after work this eve, when something seems to be too good to be true it always is no? it just feels a bit wrong?

no log book = no interest

If no Ownership documents then walk away - it's not worth the risk - especially on Ebay !!!

you mean hasn't used the correct rb5 parts, it could be a perfetct stuctual repair, just not with RB5 bits, a writtern off car can be rebuilt better than the original, i'm not saying this car is perfect, but just adding my 2p worth!

can't see it being a quality repair when the bumber used was <my98. the rb5 front bumper is nothing special therefore any my98-99-00 bumper will do. but they didn't even get that right. with this level of attention to detail i cannot imagine the repair was up to much.

Here here! Especially with a limited edition that should theoretically have stronger residuals, therefore making it authentic is paramount.

Repaired with wrong bumper, wrong steering wheel, no decals etc points to a bodge job IMHO.

See my recent thread here regarding RB5 values.

If this car were straight, it would sell in a heart-beat. You have had a lucky escape matey!
