Question

Does anyone on this post know about C14 fuel? My understanding is that it is a racing fuel, that is 114 RON (C=100, +14). There is also a C16. It is not purchased at a regular gas station and is considerably more costly.

I would really like to give it a test and see what the performance changes are. Naturally it wont be a regular thing, but on occasion I would like to put in a few gallons and give it a blast.

My concerns are....
1. Is this good for the engine/ECU?? Is it bad??
2. To anyone who has used C14, is it worth it??

BTW, I am located in the Caribbean, so I hope this is not completely alien to everyone.

All comments welcomed!!

Friend of mine ran this on his skyline a while back. (400 bhp R34 V-Spec)
I believe it was called something else though.
He got it from a friend who works in France.
He filled up with a full tank of this in Monaco and drove to Nice on it. He claimed a noticeable improvement (I am not sure if the RON was 114-Will check for you) He said the only difference was at top end. He also claimed it cleared the car out nicely and did no noticeable damage.
I would check with someone first before using this fuel though (not sure the detonation settings would take anything over 100 RON (the RON standard in Japan)

Ron H (name nothing to do with RON in fuel)
