WR1 woe

WR1 woe
Finally picked up number 232 on Thursday morning.
Wow.
So there I am, driving along the A47 between the M1 and A1. I've covered just 30 miles when an oncoming lorry sheds a golf ball sized stone which bounces nicely in front of me and arcs beatifully into the front right spotlight, smashing the lense totally and leaving two uninvited scratches on the spotlight housing.
I'm not often driven to swear but ****!
Blobster (shine well and truly taken off what should have been a great day)

Id also say that the suspension on the WR1 is similar to that of a UK STi with the Prodrive Springs (so still hard but absorbant).

Yes, it was part of the load.
The suspension is firm but it rides the terrible road surfaces of Sheffield very nicely.
I bet it's not a patch on the almighty Spec C though, Tony
An excellent car even with the running in restrictions.

Blobster I know exactly how you feel. I picked my WR1 up last Friday and on the way to Japfest a guy went over a plastic road sign which was lying in the road and it split, came up off his back wheels, hit my bonnet (leaving two lovely scratches ) and into my scoop, taking out loads of the fins on the intercooler! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr very annoying.
Then on the way back a lorry decided to change lanes quikely and must of kicked up some stones, then hit my windscreen and put a dink in it - which hasn't spread but I'm still going to get it done!!
