Turbochargers for Dummies .....
Just stumbled on this I'm sure it's well known about (SIAL) , but it does give you a clear explaination of what goes on under the bonnet of the Scoob (particually the turbocharger bit )

It answers a few questions. Any chance of getting it turned into a sticky?
I was explaining to a mate the other day , just because someone has done physics at uni (me - He did engineering) doesnt mean that they have a detailed understanding of how an engine works.
Nuclear reactors, cosmology... All totally bloody useless when something goes pop under the bonnet.
