Default Motorshow at NEC Birmingham

I have just got back from the Motorshow. Did anyone else go today, I saw a couple of Scoobs in the carpark I was in.

I am not sure exactly what I thought about the show, yet again BMW & Mercedes didn't support the show - Subaru were there - right across from Mitsubishi and there was a steady flow of Blue shirted employees from the Scoob stand going across to look at the evo's

There was just something about the show that didn't seam quite right, it was a bit disjointed, which is a shame becuase I know they were making lots of changes this year.

I went yesterday and it wasn't very busy at all. No WR1 that I could see on the Scooby stand. Evo looked very appealing. Sat in the Merc SLR, as well as the Arnarge, GT3RS, DB9, all the TVRs and managed to blag my way into the 350z VIP lounge for free drinks

Not bad for a freebie ticket.

No there wasn't a WR1, which I thought was a bit of a shame. I am sure it would have made the stand even busier.

Yes i went Thursday, thought it was okay, the live action arena was just **** poor, so anyone going just avoid wasting your money on this, the Mini show was much better for what they were trying to put across. For those wanting to test drive the New age imprezas, you can do this. I test drove both the WRX and the STI.

Around a car park? How did you get the feel of a performance car trundling around a coned off car park?

I went yesterday. Enjoyed it. Miss the hall full of tat that they used to have a few years ago. Live show was good I thought, just a bit of fun really.

I went yesterday, I saw a couple of scoobs aswell. I agree though, the show seemed to be missing something. The scoobs looked good of course, especially the rally spec version, 0-60 in 2.4 is just insane but then what do you expect for 300,000 quid. The SLR looked good and so did some of the ladies on the stands. Especially the one who was trying to sell me a nissan micra by very purposefully flashing her chest.
