Red face 89.9p per litre?

Had to call into Hartshead Moor services this afternoon to top up on good old Optimax and was charged .1 of a penny less than 90p per litre!!

At the time of the strikes werent they winging at 84p per litre?

Either way £15 was just about 3 gallons!! I'm off to remograge the house tomorrow - shortly after I've taken a dump outside number ten!!

agree with you, but has anyone though of buying just 2 litres and arguing that (assuming they don't try and charge you £1.79.8p) that they are falsely advertising their prices. Often wondered what may happen if we all tried that. I reckon that they'd round the prices up.

Agree though, takes the mick BIG time.

Yeah - it is gradually getting very silly this.

Still on 74.9p across the Mersey from you, but most of the other places are heading to 76.9p now and services are ridiculous are 80p and over!

I think it's only going to get worse before it (may) get better though

Have to say Blueboy our prices are about the same as yours - and on Hartshead Moor they've got you by the tata's if your running out like I was (bad planning I know)...

Still - we're all slaves to it - the stikes last time caused more trouble at the time than any short term halt in price rises.

Suppose its the price you pay when you have 200+ thirsty horses to feed - reckon I'd lose any umph if I convereted to chip fat power?

I reckon, it'll be £1 by years end (well, 99p )
coupled with rising inflation due to the price of oil.
rising interest rates compounding on top
housing price crash
finance/debt crisis with loads of reposessions.

or it might all turn out OK

94.9 for SUL here in rip-off Belfast.

I remember petrol going to £1 per gallon. Looks like I'm soon going to see £1 per litre.
