What will HPI check show up
Will be looking for a change of car in the next couple of months. Will be buying second hand most probably private.
Was wondering what exactly does a HPI check show up. Saw in a previous thread that it will show if serious damage to car ie different categories of writeoff.
Will it also give details of more minor insurance claims panel damage etc

I think class A /B mean's a total rightoff, C mean's pretty bad, D mean's lock damage, bit of panel damage, ect. dont quote me i think it's somat like that.....

It will tell if the car has had any repairs that have been claimed on insurance and can tell if there is any outstanding finance on the car, amongst other things.
A car can still have been a write off but as long as it wasnt fixed through an insurance company it wont show up on an HIP check.
