Default leaded 4 star petrol

I can get my hands on some genuine leaded 4 star at a garage not far from me, its absolutely superb cause I'll be able to run my renault on it but what about the scoob will this do it any good/bad?

AFAIK, leaded petrol is very bad for the catīs

Edit: as in the catalytic converter, not pussycats

ahh right, so thats the excuse to the woman to get it de catted eh

thanks, will I notice an improvement with the car then guys or should I just not really bother? (with 4 star that is )

No point what so ever. 4* is only 97 ron, and should you ever refit the cats to your car, any residue of the 4* will instantly kill them, leaving you will a largish bill to replace them.

And it'll very likely kill the lambda sensor in no time (~20 miles).
