If that right
mines a 04 WRX with PPP

275's a bit optimistic....

The Press release i have says it's 257 lb.ft and 265PS

Think ether the guy or the dealer's exaggerating

i'm certainly no expert on prodrive (or anything really) but ecutek claim with there remep and a scoobysport exhaust that the 01-03 wrx's power raise's to 285 bhp so i guess it's certainly possible that the prodrive performance pack could do that for the 04 wrx....but as i said i'm no expert like some of the guy's on here it's just what iv'e read

Isnt the prodrive map done by ecutek?

I did hear that the Prodrive map doesn't push the car as hard as some of the other maps out there.

Prodrives map will be there for the reliability of the car, not to push it too hard and cause premature wear and tear.

It's easy to get mixed up with these remaps.

EcuTek is the software used by a large number of tuners (including themselves) to remap the factory ECU's. Prodrive use the EcuTek software to reprogram the ECU, but the values they use for the remap such as boost/ignition/fuel etc are all developed by Prodrive.

So PPP is a Prodrive map done by Prodrive using a software package written by EcuTek. Hope that clears it up?

EcuTek are not tuners. Power Engineering, next door do the tuning.

PE did my 03 WRX and gave me a few bhp more than the PPP claim. Chris from PE said that they would only go over 270 bhp with a decat downpipe, as the back pressure from the standard cat could damage the turbo.
