i think that i can beat that !!!

i got a MY99 in september last year with only 4500 genuine miles, it is an absolute mint car. in the last 2 years it had only done the miles to the dealers and back for its servicing, which was a grand total of 56 miles.

Why do people buy these cars and not drive them?....They're expensive toys to have in a garage doing nothing!....Must be barking mad!

it's not always a case of not driving them mate, alot of the time it's where can you leave them??
I know we are all insured but it is not really the point, you might have modded your car in such a way that it could not be replaced/duplicated. I know where I live there are very few places you can leave your car and feel safe that it will be there when you come back.

That's got to be even worse...spending all that money on something your worried about using..I can understand that reason and have sypathy fir people in that position, but my point was really about having an expensive performance car which spends most of it's time off road, and depreciating...surely we buy these cars to enjoy them..

Where I work there is a ferrari 360 spider that sits here all the time and doesn't move. The owner of the vehicle also owns the building
(in the city, London). Some people just have too much money and don't care about the depreciation.

I am sure that Stevie, AKA West Lothian Scoob bought his car (the local dealership owners') when it was 3 years old and only had about 3.5K on the clock.

When he is on he may correct me - but that is pretty amazing really.

Brian.

P.S. Mine only has 11,000 miles on the clock (oops - forget to mention it's only 7 months old - does that count!!)

Don't think I'm in the running for this one with 20K in 7 months - but every single one has been done with a big cheesy on my face, even the ones coming back from the dealer having had a service

Try 57,000 in 18 months from new! Stacks of fun, fingers crossed I can get it to 200,000 without mega bills.

:-)
