I went with a friend over to maidstone sports cars to see how they were getting on with his esprit.
Whilst there i got chatting with one of the guys about there elise,they have installed a civic type r engine and box.The car had just been set up during the week on track.I was offered a ride in it,all i have to say is this car is simply awsome,i have been in some 600bhp plus cars and this is by far the quickest i have ever been in,absolutely stunning.The figures for the car are 0-60 3.8 0-100 under 12 secs.1/4 mile not tested at this time.
The great thing was you could put it in 6th and pull from 40mph.They are offering the conversion for 10k.I could go on and on aboutr this car i was blown away by it.
So far the seven people who have had a test drive have all ordered the conversion.
Anyone on here with an elise you just got to get this done.
Im now looking for a very cheap ropey elise as a doaner.

Blink Motorsport are supposed to be the experts for this conversion.

Have driven the Blink development car, its quick thats for sure not as fast as more dedicated track toys eg Radical / R500 etc but not that far off.

However for a fast road / track day car its got to be up there with anything else in the sub 20k price range.

The brake conversion is very good too. I was very nearly going to buy an Elise just so I could get this conversion but went another direction in the end.
