Default Nice dealer

My friend with a P1 just had his car fail due to emisions. the conversation went like this.
You only just failed, do you have the old exhaust?
Him why will that make a difference?
Yes it would probably pass
Quick thinking after realising he didnt have the old exhaust
Yeah its in my garage. Can I have a pass certificate now
No we have to see it!
Well I managed to keep my old exhaust so he picked up the down pipe and centre section, all still bubble wrapped.
Today he went with the exhaust in his boot and he now has a valid MOT.
Guess when I have my mot done I will take the exhaust in the boot!!! so it passes on emisions

So it's a nice dealer and you repay them by openly stating on a public forum that they issued a bogus MOT? I always think the dealers name should be kept to yourself, or forwarded to people on request...

I dont doubt that they fitted the exhaust and then then took it off again
