Jands in the U.S for a start. Quite a nifty AFR and knock unit combined.

Im going to be making a remote display for the link style knocklink soon and hope to post up a how to thread in the projects forum so all the rest of you can hide those ugly boxes under the dash somewhere!
It's not to difficult at all would just need a few bits from RS or Maplins.
Oh and would need someone to host the pics as well.

You can hide the ugly box under the dash by fitting fly leads to the LED's. You can then fit the LED's where ever you like. I fitted mine into the steering column cowell(sp?).

I've been thinking about this for a while now, having got myself both Lambda and Knock Links a while ago. I'm planning to put an RJ45 socket on the side of the nasty boxes linked up to the led's inside and then a seperate cable with RJ45 male connector on with the newly located led's on the end of the cable

Main reason for that is that I want to put them along the bottom left and right of my 3 gauge classic pod

I just havent got around to it yet!

Wink Knocklink Project

I have made a little attempt at it at the moment, the led's are mounted by the security sytem LED just under the dash binnicle.
Have decided to move them again though as they are obsured by the steering wheel far too much of the time, thought it would be ok when fitting but have changed my mind.
Have been to busy latley to even sit down with the RS tome of information to order the bits to move them.
Will post up some pics when i have a few days to spare.

mine, fitted remotely, not perfect as I used the wrong type of drill bit for the final size, but you get the idea

its just the wires that lead from the LED's to the knocklink box

Phil.

BTW The Jap Kenwood CD/Radio in the pic is going spare for £80+ P&P if anyone wants it
