Question PFF 7`s or PPP Upgrade ????

Hi everyone looking for some thoughts/suggestions please, i really fancy a set of PFF 7`s for my sti 8 but dealers quoting me approx £1850, is that about right. Also at that level of money you could have the ppp upgrade fitted instead of alloys, if you had to pick one or the other, any thoughts ???

Cheers !

18" wheels should only be £1800 from a dealer with the fitted Pirelli PZeros. I reckon they are trying to charge you £50 for fitting. Arrange to collect the wheels and fit them yourself. Call at halfords on the way home and buy a 2 tonne trolley jack for £19.99. Or blag one off the neighbours

Cheam motors have those wheels in at £250 each, sounds like your dealer is a tad optimistic

Wheels make a difference when you're outside the car, staring at it.

PPP makes a difference when you're actually in the car, driving it.

Remind me again why people buy these cars?

I assume you're already on 17's?
If so then 1" is no comparison to ppp.
Sort the power and then keep your ear to the ground for a second hand set of wheels which are in the real world price wise

PPP first, definitely

Plus there's many other nice 5 or 6 spoke 18' wheel options out there that come in about £800 cheaper than 1800 !!! (including tyres)

Thumbs up

18" wheels first mate! Huge handling improvement on the STi 8 which will give you a faster car without having to add more power. Then add PPP at a later date! Prodrive also recommend fitting 18" wheels before PPP to handle the extra power!

I just fitted P-WRC1 wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1's to my STi 8 last week. Total ~£1300! Put your name down for RB5 286's group buy and get the tyres from http://www.mytyres.co.uk.

I'd also recommend getting a front strutt brace too
