Thanks

Yeah, nice rubber ones

Like most STI bolt ons, the pedals are an accessory.

I bought mine from GGR. Cost £100, but you can import them for a good bit cheaper from STI Racing or Japan Parts. Just watch you don't get stung by import duty and VAT.

BTW, the STI are the tuning leg of Subaru. If it's got an STI badge and manufactured by STI, then it's an original part. This is regardless of whether it was (or wasn't) fitted as standard to an STI-badged Impreza.

Stop right there,

do not pay 130 quid for them, its a total rip off at that price

I got mine direct from www.japanparts.com, straight from Japan, brand new, arrived in less than a week, all for the princely sum of 60 quid, including shipping

They may be £60 incl shipping, but you WILL get stung for handling charges and import duty etc, which adds up. Still worth a go though. Go to SMania / GGR / Nitosport etc for UK suppliers.

I DID NOT get stung for any charges, the above price is exactly what I paid, and not a penny more

Jammy git There was a thread about this a whileago, and I, amongst many others got hit with the tax. Still cheaper than here though.

Are these pictures from a new age bugeye WRX/STI as the pedals in the first picture look identical to my bugeye WRX. If so, how did you manage to get the STI accelerator pedal to fit?

I had the STI pedals on my old 96 but when I tried to fit them to my bugeye I couldn't get the pin through the back of the accelerator pedal. The others went on fine. Did you remove the standard pedal or did you manage to fit it over the top?

Cheers

Mine was a real tw@t to fit through, but I eventually managed it. The original accelerator remained in place.

Not sure about the newages, but with the classics you fit the accelerator pedal over the original.

Footrest (far left) gets replaced completely all the rest have the newones fitted over the top. If the car has rubber pads (like mine), these are removed first.
