Help!! I cant decide!!!
Thanx for those that have posted, but I have only had 2 replies :-( I wish there were more people that knew about 2001/2 Bug Eye WRX's
Do I go for 2002 WRX UK or 2001 WRX Import? there must be more to it than just insurance! Both have warranty Both are Mint, Import has 16K UK has 32K Miles. (UK one has a rear wiper as well!!! Is that right??)
Any more help GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

IMHO It just comes down to warranty. Do you want rock solid, industry leading warranty, or do you want 3rd party warranty with more holes than swiss cheese? Check the news section on www.subaru.co.uk look at the report dated 26/02/2004 "Subaru slams misleading warranty report".

As this is your 5th (ish) thread about this topic it is difficult to keep up with the answers you have had.
Presume by import you mean Japanese import. If the car has folding mirrors then this will most likely be the case, as I don't think that this was ever an option on UK cars.
AIUI the WRX name is only applied to the base model turbo in the UK. A Japanese spec WRX will be higher powered. Whether 280bhp, I don't know. Have you looked at the SIDC FAQ? Although this has not been updated since 2000 it will give some idea of the typical differences between UK and Japanese spec.
Assuming that you are talking about 4-door and not wagon then UK cars do not have a rear wiper and I don't think that this was ever an option on UK cars.
If you can get the VIN numbers then someone will be able to tell when the car was manufactured and for which target market.
