I saw it fitted to Rashers car............perfect.

I all so saw it fitted to Mellows P1..........Not so perfect, it had lifted at the edges, and dust/dirt had gathered under the film.

I dont like it, it sits too proud of the bodywork, and it will chip itself.
So you may save the paint, but your getting the same chipped effect on the film.

Havn't seen any that have chipped on the film.

If his had lifted, take it straight back, you get a 12 month warrenty anyway.

It saved my paintwork many times already!!

Spot The Armourfend:

A tiny piece of mine came loose, they fixed it immediatly under warrenty.

I believe if it lifts you have a lifetime guarantee to have it re-fitted, dont quote me though.

As for Mellows car, he used it hard, and followed many cars into and out of the kittey litter at 100mph+.

So this may have accounted for the pocked front end.

They usually do discount for car clubs too - many moons ago I negotiated a 10% discount for another club. Its great stuff and I had it on a couple of my cars, its esp good if you do airfield days.

I've got armourfend all over the front of my classic and even though its over 5 years old, there's not a single stone chip!

Well worth the money!

I used to work for this company a few years ago and would definately recommend having this applied.

Unfortunately, I need to get the car re-sprayed (bought a MY93 WRX last month and the paintwork has seen better days!) then I'll get the car Armourfended to stop any future chips!

Go to their website www.armourfend.com and contact them for a fitter in your area.

I was considering getting this done as my car is having a new front end at the mo (a small whoooops on the motorway )

Can anyone post a pic of how it looks on the bonnet, assuming it only goes partway up. Most of my chips seem to be (used to be ) just below the scoop.
