Low-priced scoobs
Looking at website for Keighley Car Trade Centre, do these sound suspiciously cheap?? "'97 STi Type-R 555, 36k, 17"alloys, HKS exhaust, warranty etc....8995", "97 Sti Type-R 7995!", "97 STi 3 RA 7495 pounds"..... All with warranties. Anyone bought a Scoob from there ?

Over in japan prices for WRX are incredibly low, especially the classic shape Ive seen cars go through the online auction selling for £2500 (97 sti ra) £1400 (95 555edition)
£3000 for a 3door type R Buy a £2500,car ship it over, pay all taxes,SVA it and register it and sell it on the forecourt for £8-10grand It can sit there all year but when it does sell the mark up is pretty healthy Why do you think there are so many car importers out there The trick is knowing someone in Japan to translate/check the paperwork and check the car The larger longer established car importers will have someone in japan regularly or permenantly The smaller outfits,Arthur Daley types, will buy the car after it hits the UK at the auctions based at the port I would ask a 100 and 1 questions regarding where the car was purchased but there are good cars to be had if you do your homework
Cheers Grant

also mate if they do umport them there self ask if you can see the grading sheet of the auction.because if they are selling them that cheap they must have got them darn cheap, hence the cars normally being damage repaired (grade R in jap auctions)cars hence cheap in japan and bigger profit margin for the seller
