Fuel Pump question
Just ordered a new Walbro 255l/h fuel pump but no reg. Will this uprated pump cause problems with the stock fuel regulator? Also will it make it run richer?
Cheers

I have one of these fitted to my 01WRX and didn't notice much difference in fuel economy. It didn't change much from before. (Still thirsty!)
I did fit a fuel regulator chanmge at teh same time, think that may help in terms of stabilising the fuel pressures coming in. Give Mark at Lateral Performance a call, I'm sure he'll sort you out.

hi mate i had the same question but alan at lateral performance said just the fuel pump will be ok for a normal car if its heavily moded then you would need the reg.so io just put the pump on mine and its fine, bit more responsive tough

Cheers guys that really helps.
I have a problem when the boost comes in it hesitates and it is not caused by either the coil packs, spark plugs or any of the ignition system, maf or lambda. I thought the next best attack was the fuel system. It has been ordered with alyn at asperformance so heres to good fuelling!
