Personal contract hire

Personal contract hire
Guys,
Do any of you have personal contract hire on a scoob?
Basically i'm trying to find out if its best to buy outright or on contract.
And at present it would be on a WR1, I currently have a STI Type UK (2002) which is on good old fashioned HP, so I guess i'd have to get rid of that then.
So can someone give me an idea of prices, deposits necessary, mileage etc before I go off to my dealer.
Cheers,
Shaun

basically you can put anything up to 40% in as a deposit
the guaranteed future value varies car to car but usually works out about 40% of the cars original sale price
so in theory you would only have to finance 20% of the car over three years,
But dont forget to work your finance out including interest on the future value figure as i didnt take this interest into account when i bought mine
peugeot 206 GTI 180(from a pug dealer,car price £15315 on the road)
deposit £6000
guaranteed future value £5903
36 monthly payments of £190.26
hope this helps mate

Better off getting unsecured loan Cahoot 5.9%, Northern rock 6.5 (no redemption penalties). Get loan over maximum period to reduce monthly's...when sell, pay off assuming residuals hold up.
PCP generally 7-9 % APR.

I pay £280 (i think) per month contract hire (2 years, 10K miles) for a late MY02 car.
I think the deposit was about £900, which they took out of my trade in, and sent me a cheque for the rest.
I think current rates are about £300 per month for the new cars, but don't quote me on that. I had a quote from Ian at Stan Palmers a while ago looking for a company car. Will look what that was when i get home.
