Normal range 22-30pmg from my standard MY00. A fair proportion has been motorway type driving, and overall its 26.6mpg.

About 20-30mpg for a new WRX wagon between town and motorway driving, just done a run from London to Gloucester and back to London including going through the centre of London and M4 driving and it's average was 31mpg, great power & reasonable fuel economy, whatever next cheap insurance (NOT)

Thumbs up

Until recently couldn't get more than 220 miles out of a tank on the STi, averaging about 19mpg

Has got better lately though - last week managed 23mpg average Not sure why as havent changed my driving style. Putting it down to the engine loosening up a bit!

I get about 240 - 260 miles to the tank, mixture of getting caught in traffic and WOT between roundabouts.

Mines usually averages about 22-24mpg. Get it on a long run with a light foot, and it will get a good way into the 30's.

03 wrx wagon, 4200 miles, run on optimax from 800 miles, was doing 23- 24mpg. Fitted new back box, since then, has returned 27-29, how strange is that? gets more beans now too!

Red face STi5 Type R - HOW ECONOMICAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

£200+ fuel bill in two days....just got my credit card statement, OK so I popped up to Carlisle to "Cruise West Cumbria" but bloody hell, £184 in Super and 6 bottles of millers equates to £202, clocked up about 1100 miles round trip

edited to say = 22mpg but I did take the scenic route to have fun, as you do

New shape WRX - last 3 tanks at 25 mpg. That's commuting at 40mph and one 50 miles 'drive it like you stole it' blast per tank...
When does the engine loosen up?

MY99, full de-cat, K&N etc. average around 27 mpg or 30mpg on a long run.
