Lowest price for a new WRX or STi from Subaru main dealer
What is the lowest price paid for a new blob eye WRX or STi from a Subaru main dealer ?
Did you part exchange in another car when purchasing the new car ?

Got my MY03 STi TypeUK for £23400.00 in September. No px. I was well pleased.
Have heard a copule of others got slightly lower than that.....about £23265 or something similar IIRC.

just phone up the "what car" helpline they will put you through to the cheapest dealer they have found
I had to travel a bit out of my way due to my local dealer only offering to knock off £200 Max! but it was worth it to save £1600 off list price!

This is about the most expensive compared to other sites out there
theres another thread which shows the sites......... the cheapest I have found so far including Metallic is about £18480. (autoebid)............ seeing if there is anywhere slightly cheaper than this - btw the autoebid, as with many others acts as a broker to get you the best quote with a main dealer (the brokers fee of £250 plus vat is included in the £18480 quoted above)
So the Whatcar quote is way too expensive. In fact its the highest I have seen so far

Its worth keeping an eye on it though, it changes from week to week. Like I said, when I got mine it was £23400 for the STi. Which at the time was far better than anyone else I could find.
Good luck!

www.drivethedeal.com are quoting £23220 for an STi, and £18620 for the WRX. I've used them before and they were very good. Prices are for UK car delivered from UK dealer, money is paid to the dealer! Price includes TAX (12mths), VAT, delivery and registration

It was a demonstrator with 1800 miles but had been driven by the manager, and not actually used as a demonstrator (they say). No probs though. They even registered me with Subaru as first owner, filled in the book with me as first owner etc, although V5 would say otherwise. Not bothered in the least - let someone else take some of the price knock.
However, any other car I would not pay so close to book price for a demonstrator. This was the best available anywhere by a long shot at the time. September 2003.

Pat Lawless of Carfile Brokers supplies some of the What Car target price data. He has a bulk deal with a Subaru dealership with offers something like 10-12% off across the range. My local dealers couldnt come anywhere near.
