WR1 avalibility in the south west.
Does anyone know if there is a WR1 in the south west still for sale or even one that can be demoed. Also is there a WR1 leaflet avaliable ?

As far as I know there are no demo's that have been released as yet, also not seen any brochure's or info, still waiting to find out if there will be any extra's and so on... I'm trying to get all the info in one place here if it helps...

I understand the WR1 is lowered by 25mm over the STI MY04 so it may be more intimate with your driveway.
Have you tried phoning IM? I am sure they know how many and where WR1's are still available.

IM aka International Motors are the official importer, sometimes referred to as Subaru UK. They are based in West Brom IIRC.
And no, I changed my My02 Sti for an My03 Sti with PPP in Sept, I won't be changing it again for the forseeable.

Sorry, Clive.
I meant to say Subaru UK not IM. Still a sound idea though. It would save phoning every single dealer.
When you order a WR1 your details are passed to Subaru UK so they know how many have been sold.

PS. If you are desperate for a WR1 Marky2 it may be worth while looking further afield. My local dealers all sold out very early but there are still WR1's out there.

When I was looking aboout a fortnight ago, Tiley's in Bristol and Brammell's in Cheltenham still had allocation available. Then I came to my senses and bought an Evo instead!!
micronetcarshowroom.com were offering WR1s at £27k and confirmed to me they could supply them for this price.

got some news about the WR1
Between April and Aug, each dealer has been given 3 and they can then order more if they are available, so first come first served.
The cars have to be registered first before any modification are undertaken, this takes 2 weeks. So keeping that in mind they expect the first cars to go out in the middle of April,,,,,, for the first one, mine been the 4th one my dealer sold I could be waiting till June, bummer but worth the wait.

Did you get the fq Evo?
I did not like the service cost and every 4,000 miles.
Oh, and trying to use the gear box I found was hit and miss?
Nice car but I still think the scooby just takes the cake at the end of the day
