Are we seeing the rise of the Wagon??
Look at how many manufactures are bringing out 'Sportswagons' .... crossed between an Estate and a Hatchback??
These people don't get the market trend wrong!
I reckon the Impreza Wagons will become seriously sought after in the future - everyone is tired of the Saloon with its big table top spoilers and aggressive stance.
Long live the Wagon!!

I certainly hope you're right - I picked my new Wagon up this morning!
The saloon Impreza is definately the 'known' shape of the two variants, whereas the Wagon doesn't tend to stand out as much (from the rear end anyway!), I reckon.
I still prefer the look of the saloon, but love that extra practicality of the Wagon.

Wagon or not, don't give a tinker's cuss. It's about engineering. If you buy a car for looks it ain't gonna be a Scoob.
That said, with the Saloon carrying a premium to buy S/H, no question. The wagon's the value.

Wagons are quicker, handle better, look better, are more practical, are less nickable, and owned by the more discerning impreza owner (never seen a wagon driven by soemone with a cap on )
Another vote for the wagon

I`ll second what sulli has said, my wagon is a MY95 and looks and drives like new.
I think 18 services from new helps there...
Definately get better looked after.
Perhaps a section for Wagons at NBO2?
