Need a new reg plate - anyone know of a good place to buy "small but legal" ????

Mate there is no such thing as small but legal...........there are laws surrounding the size of plates and thats that. Go outside of the laws and they are illegal

You can have small but legal.

No actual restriction on the size of a number plate, it's the font, spacing, stroke, border etc that has to meet certain tolerances.

Try the DVLA. Look up a valid plate on all the other sites, then ask the DVLA for it. 9 times out of 10 you will save £100's

GT Grafix do some really nice plates, I had one made up with raised carbon letters, they will basically do anything you want as long as you are prepared to say they are for show use

There used to be a user on here who made them up, he made me some up very good quilty as there still on my car

Thanks guys.. i want to keep the lettering legal but get them to trim off as much plate as possible...
