Angry This morning as I was............

turning into the car park at work the van in front of me launched a missile at my windscreen. It hit low down on the drivers side and chipped the windscreen. There are three small crazed lines in the glass but it amount to less than the size od a penny.

Is this the sort of damage than can be repaired ?? If so who is good at it in the Derby area? and approx cost

Hope someone can answer me

Steve

... and get it repaired quickly if you decide to go that route. One frosty night is all it takes for those small craze lines to extend all the way along the window.

Very true, glass claims don't affect your NCB and repairs are totally free but check with your insurance first - specific insurance companies deal with different firms. Although the windscreen company should be able to tell you if you take your policy along.

Look on the bright side - better a cracked screen than a nasty dink in the bonnet....
