Question Where to buy Lambda probe from....

I'm after replacing the Lambda probe on my UK MY98...

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me the best place to get one from?

Is there any special make/type to go for or do I just check how many wires the original one has and get a replacment one from the cheapest source I can find?...

Any help appreciated!

Matt.

I just paid around £250 for one to be fitted at power engineering. There are 3 types apparently all different prices and I had the most expensive!

Whats the best way of checking what Lambda probe you have?... Just check the amount of wires coming from it? I guess it'll either be two or three wires.

I got mine at Sparshatts in the end for £120 then fitted it myself in 5 minutes. You may be able to get one from Halfords if you can find the right part number, they're about £25. Unfortunately I couldn't find the right one through that route If there was a search facility running you could have looked at previous posts to find the right numbers...

Oh and it'll be at least 3 - 5 wires, probably 3 on that age.
