Hi I am looking for some advice on a problem I have noticed with my 2001 WRX. I have noticed over the last couple of days a very strong smell of petrol inside the car and when I lift the bonnet it's even stronger particularly around the centre of the engine.

Car is an import from Subaru main dealer in Holland (So should be same as UK sourced) where I bought it from new and has not been modified in any way.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the problem. Also I live in south London so does anybody have any reccomendations for a good independent garage to bring it to.
