I know a fair amount of you guys/gals are IT
Bods and spend forever on the net. I've just found an awesome firewall/internet security program. Since I'm getting my cable modem
tommorow I thought I'd better lock my PC down.

Picked it up about a month ago new. Very impressed - it's certainly an eye opener how often it flags up potential hackers.

Tried it out and it reported my PC to be "unusually secure for a Windows PC", which is nice, but odd cos I've taken no steps whatsoever to secure it.

It's a Dell and came with W98 installed, maybe they know what they're doing?

Can anyone remember the address of the web site that checks all the ports on your machine to see which are open for hackers?
