Leaky Boot HELP!!!

Default Leaky Boot HELP!!!

I have a my94 Impreza and the boot leaks, Any ideas how to fix, Ive check where the spoiler holes are and sealed them but its still leaking, Is this a common problem please could someone help.

Check the seals on the light clusters - mine used to fill up untill I sorted them. Interestingly Subaru apparently can't sell you a replacement (at least according to my local dealer), so it'll have to be a tube of gutter sealant or similar!

its the seals on the taillights mate. i had this prob, sorted it with silicone sealant

What worries me is the water is also dripping from speakers in boot
and boot lid would this do this.

doubt it . could just be condensation from the damp boot. or the boot seal itself. hope this helps

Yes that helps ill try looking at the clusters, Do i have to remove them Sorry to keep asking, Ant guidence would be appriciated.

yep! pull back the trims in the boot and u will find 5 or 6 ,8mm nuts each side holdin them in. remove the lights make sure they are completely dry before sealin them other wise its pointless as the sealer doesnt dry. seal up and fit them strait to the car and tighten the nuts. should take a day to dry fully. then remove the carpet and dry on a rad!
