Exclamation SECS1004 Knocklink Correction (KC)

I have had a SECS1004 fitted to My MY03 STI and have noticed the KC figure sometimes as high as 7degs.
Is this normal, as the car feels rough and lacking, with a noticable dead spot at 3000rpm... much more than before.
I've had an H & S downpipe, CEL fix and a green filter upgrades.
Also yesterday the CEL light came on again, and now it goes on and off like Christmas decorations..
Has anyone got any ideas?

Is it possible for the Green filter to contaminate the MAF? Are these filters considered safe for heated film MAFs?

It should go higher than that as it's showing positive correction. Obviously the ECU isn't happy about something, most likely the downpipe as it can't control the boost as easily.

Asking an employee of Prodrive to comment on how to fix problems caused by a warranty-busting modification that Prodrive themselves won't have professional experience of? Surely not?

There are a raft of potential causes for the CEL. It might be overboost as a result of the decat, but it could also be something completely different and unrelated.

It might throw a little light if we knew whether the hesitation and knock correction started to happen immediately after the downpipe installation, but without knowing that, trying to guess the cause of the CEL is akin to finding a needle in a reasonably sized haystack.

Scooby L really needs to get the car on a DeltaDash or Select Monitor before making another move. Problem needs to be pinpointed before a fix can be attempted.
