What did you do today ?
This is what ive been up to today !!
Took the baily DV off and put orginal scooby back on
Took of the front in take pipe,(to resenator box)
already got power enginnering induction kit fitted, (like K&N)
Took the resonator box out from the driver side wing
Had eagle f1`s fitted , gdo3, wicked tyres !!!!!
just ran it for 20 miles, runs a lot smoother and not sure and maybe i am loosing my marbles but it feels quicker, maybe the ecu will after a further 30 miles or so ,may adjust to the cooler air temp and more air ?
got magnex front to back de cat, and power engineering tek 2 re-map ,rollered at 272bhp and 260torq , hope i havent lowered thoses figures ?
what do all think ? , also thinking next of getting an sti5/6 or c spec intercooler and fitting that, will make much difference ? greasemonkey thinks it may be possibble to fit a new age intercooler from wrx or sti, is that a squeeze ?
oh well , more money ):

Cleared the entry by the side of my house with 8 others, for the benefit of 49 residents. Digging, scraping, raking and lifting all day, in preparation for a gating scheme.
8 hours hard graft, bit of community spirit, jobs a good un
No driving for me today

excellent Day - Litchfield Imports
Drove from Wycombe down to Cheltenham at a rapid rate of Knots in order to check out the Type 25. Excellent drive down, the scoob at its best on the A40 from Oxford towards cheltenham, very quick road with excellent overtaking places
Into Cheltenham and met the very nice Ian Litchfield, who let me have a spin in the Type 25 did not boot it though (did screw the gear change up, 3rd rather than 5th ) After some chat, decided that the Type 25 all though an excellent bit of kit would be wasted on me, not enough track days or spare time, so seriously looking at a 300 gee gee JDM STI from litchfields, just waiting for the quote to come through
Way back, serious blat, overall an excellent saturday, wife not to happy though .. so not sure about saturday night
Cheers

Morning: bed
Afternoon:
Took, the old mans Beamer for a spin with the DSC turned off (but didn't spin)
I don't care what the beamer haters say, you have to be a very crap and stupid driver to get these things unstuck.
Actually grips better than my scooby too (Avons vs Michelins...no contest really)

Got up too late, cycled to work to pick up the 'other car' (AXGT) I'd ditched there on Thursday - on the p*ss in London on Thursday night . Followed by a recovery period involving cooling down and a cuppa tea........
Drove home. Checked out the n/s wheel bearings on the AX (they're fine, ta). Made sure the n/s driveshaft was busted.... lovely hole in the gaiter and rusty bits on show Discovered I need to new rear tyres
Washed the AX, drove it to dry it.
Washed the scoob. Drove it to dry it and then it started raining . Put scoob away, retired for tea.
Watched 2nd half Wales v Scotland - cheered lots
Still have box of bits (de-tango's) for the scoob as I ran out of daylight and nice weather.
Jeremy.
