Scoob has gone!
Well guys
After 3 years of fabulous Scooby ownership my reign has come to an end.
I let my pride and joy go tonight for £5,000. It was a UK MY95 and had 175,000 miles on the clock.
For those of you who have seen the car at a few Northern meets the car was immaculate considering the mileage and I'm not suprised how quickly it sold. Piccies
I put the ad on the Auto Trader website on Tuesday afternoon and the first person who came to view today bought it on the spot.
It was a strange feeling watching my car being driven away, mixed emotions really.
It has been fantastic over the past 3 years and I consider myself very lucky to have owned a Subaru Impreza
Recently married and trying for a baby I've downgraded myself to a new 1.6 Focus Zetec (that'll take some getting used to)
Somebody once tried to steal it off my drive and the day we returned from our honeymoon in Jamaica, while we slept, our house was burgled and the keys taken (luckily for me they couldn't start the car as it had a hidden 2nd immobiliser) - nicked everything else though....doah!!!
I can't risk people coming into the house for car keys when we have a baby so that made my mind up really.
Over the 3 years people on here have helped me a great deal with their wisdom and knowledge on every possible subject so thank you all for that. I'll still come on here occasionally (don't suppose there will be a Zetec forum ) and I'll try to remember not to wave at you Scooby drivers anymore as you'll think I'm a Focus driving freak

Ayde
Paul's sold after 1 day in the trader, his car looked great so I knew it would. He's driving a Hyundia Coupe F2 now. Haven't seen or heard from him for a while actually - I'll have to text him and see if he's still alive
I never thought mine would sell so quick, especially with the mileage it had done.
I used to love going for a run up the Rainford By-Pass, don't think I've ever seen any police on there - you're right smigga it's definately the best way to destress after A HARD DAY!!
I had a garage but as it grew full of junk I decided to leave the car on the drive, I think it was to late then as once they know you own the car they'll break into the house to get it out of the garage.
I'll keep an eye out for you guys so if you see someone in a dark grey Focus waving then it'll just be me
Actually now you come to mention Ayde I think I have seen you queing by the lights, you were going away from St Helens, passing the Welly on your left on a morning.
I'll have to try and cancel my 2 week Trader advery otherwise my phone will be ringing for 2 weeks

I e-mailed Steve yesterday evening to let him know the car had sold.
If he fancies a wagon then my mate round the corner is selling his.
It's also a MY95 and is immaculate. If you know Paul_EDS who used to post on here it was his car, car was chipped by David Wallis and it goes like lightning
I think he's asking £4,900
Let me know if he's interested as a guy from Scotland is coming to look at it on Saturday and like mine I reckon it'll go to the first viewer
