Do you mean the 1000 mile service - if so I have no idea - when I bought the car as ex-demo they had done the first 1000 mile service at about 150 miles (ARGHHHHH!). It has been oil changed, fully synthetic since then anyway.

Supply your own oil and make sure all fluids are at max.

Had my 02 done about 3 weeks ago, cost £118 but on checking the gearbox oil a few weeks later it was below the minimum despite having the service sheet ticked, it is a check and rectify on the schedule, still to phone them and kick off!

Just cost me £180 for 03 WRX for 10k service. Astonishing given what I used to pay before (Corrado VR6, specialist co, £30 per hour inc VAT). Garage I used - Cheam Moters - were friendly though and the cheapest that I could find within a reasonable driving distance.
Given what's included in a 10k serice I'd expect a priove of approx £60 + oil and folter would be nearer the mark.

I paid £155 for the 10k and £189 for the 20k

A bit pi$$ed off becouse they added Wiperblades and Sceen wash without asking me!!!
it needed the blades but not the screen wash...@£1.99 I could buy 5 lts from Morrisons for that!

Next time thier will be no additions! I be getting very legal if they do!

AR - How does your 03 WRX compare to the Maserati then?
What was the Maserati like for reliability - appaling like most Italian cars?

The 3200GT is fine if you can live with very light steering and no traction in the wet in 1st and 2nd! Reliability was ok but the electronics are fragile and servicing expensive. The new 4200GT is much cheaper to service, has heavier steering and has better traction due to the lack of turbos but they have made it softer.
