Hi All

Shaun and I would like to offer you a warm welcome to our new home!

It has taken a gargantuan effort to get this up and running, especially on Shaun's part, so we really hope you are pleased with the results.

In addition, please accept our deepest apologies, that the search function is not yet switched on. It requires a huge indexing process, which we will do gradually over the next 2 weeks and then switch it on.

We have implimented almost all of the features requested by the community including the subscription forums, paypal sign up for plus membership / all subscriptions.

There are still a few things to tidy up / get running, so please bear with us over the next couple of weeks until we get all the finishing touches in place.


There is SO MUCH to explore, so take the time to have a look around at all your new options, etc. Parts of it will take a while to get used to, but the main functions are essentially the same.

Please let us have your feedback here, and we will work on anything that needs it as soon as possible.

Finally, we would like to send a heart felt thank you to everyone who has been so supportive, especially during the last 2 weeks. This is all for you

As mentioned: Speed issues are absolutely awful, and formatting of posts seems a bit iffy from here. Not 100% sure about the new look (someone said fussy, which seems accurate: seem to use a lot of screen ordnance for not much benefit, though this may be a function of the "iffy" formatting") but I must say the extra functionality is AWESOME!

If you could just make it faster, I could get used to the rest of it.

Speed needs a little work as mentioned by others. I also seem to have lost all my favourites which is a bit of a pain, esp as I can't search to find them all again! Some of them were old threads but with really useful stuff in them - anything you can do to sort this?

not sure on it yet, its extremely slow and people replies eem to be all over the place rather one below the other, i dont know what thats all about?

Ive edited my User CP so i can see 30 topics per page, but in NORTHERN i can only see 5? go figure.

Apologies for the outages. We're working hard to optimise everything to keep the thing running when you all log in!!

We'll get there but it's taking a while.

Looking good Simon & Co. Bit of a culture shock at first, but I'm sure we'll all get used to it.

It would be interesting to have a glimpse of the old UI again after a few weeks to see what everyone's reaction is then.....
