tryin to find out what sort of dv you have fitted to you car? seen your vid the other day and was mightyly impressed with it

He doesn't have one fitted, it's the air going back into the turbo

Ahhh!!!! I can finally get on to SN... UUURGHH what a fecking orrible setup

Anyway, yes everyone is right, I have no dump valve at all, the noise you hear is the boost pressure trying to escape back past the turbine wheel (which is spinning in the other direction, trying to put air in,) so effectively it's trying to stall the turbo..
Not really noticed a substantial increase in lag between gear changes, so it'll be staying like it is for the time being.
I have a forge (98) recirc dump valve with a shim pack, sat in a box, brand new never used.. not going to use, too many stories of the dam things leaking...
More grief than gain in my opinion.

By then it could be **** all to do with any of the above...
I just love the sound too
