60,000 miles does not require cambelt change - thats 45,000 miles.

For a certain year of the classic the cambelt was put back to 60,000 miles rather than 45,000 miles, possibly the MY00

ive got a my00 turbo.60k service is due in april.
my car has only gor 25k on it.bell and coleville in surrey told me
i would be looking at the £800 soz of the cam belt etc.
if any one knows of any other places in the surrey area where
i could get a service,i would appretiate it.

Subaru changed the cambelt service interval from the original 45K to 60K. Cambelt on my MY99 RB5 wasn't changed until 60K.
As already mentioned, it's irrelevant for the original posters car.

Got my MY99, 60k service done for £325ish (using SIDC 10% discount card and I decided to fit a K&N panel filter before the service so there is no charge for a new air filter in that price) this was at a local main dealer (car had only done 21k). Mine had the cambelt done at 45k so I imagine yours will be the same.
