Well I've had the scooby sport de-cat exhaust (made a big differance)then I had Pat at Scooby Sport re map the ecu (even bigger differance!!!)
I then went with 18" Prodrive FF7 wheels (made the handling better.
For the unending quest for the ultimate car I'm looking for suggestions on where to go next?
Handling: I could go for the prodrive spring kit
Power:I could look at bigger turbo, fmic, headers, etc.
Looking at the power option what's a ballpark figure to get to say 400 bhp?

Thanks for the input guys. Much that I would like to get a T25 or a WR1 im looking at real world solutions. You know what it's like as soon as you finish your last mod your looking for the next. Maybe I'm looking for a bit of a direction to go in. I'm sure there must be other people in the same situation.

What's the maximum you can get out of a STi intercooler. If you uprated the turbo to get more horses, is a fmic essential?
Which is the best turbo and headers to go for, for the best "bang for you buck"? Maybe it would be best if I spoke to the likes of Scooby Sport so they could give me some prices.

look in the projects forum, you will get all the answers, i beleive a uk sti is only good up to about 330, without changing internals, however a jdm will be good for closer to 400, not sure about the turbo what its good for, but i think you would be best to make sure ur internals are up to it

regards

Hi Compshack,

The southern section had a rolling road meet at G Force
last week and it was quite a gathering lots of people and cars about, a great day and a very impressive place.
G Force have a 400 bhp Sti8 of their own and also there was a customer that just had a 400bhp conversion as well

Aus73 is the guy behind G Force and he goes into some of the detail on what they do to achieve those sort of figures
Check this out

Oh by the way i hope you have an unlimited budget !!

Thanks Jason, and Silver Scooby Sport. I'll email GForce and get some info off them. It's starting to sound EXPENSIVE! Reading some of the project threads Conrad had a real epic with his car to try and get it upto 400.
