i'm currently looking at a car that is already in the country but hasn't been SVA'd.
the car looks very sound and is reasonably priced, but just looking at the process of getting it road legal.
the seller has offered to get the test done for around £350, is this anygood?
I would then pressume it would need a seperate MOT?
thanks for the help

i got my my93 imported about 3 years ago, and they lost the deregistration doc for it, i had loads of hassel reging it. but i did most of it my self with a bit of help from a guy called paul from london.
it cost me about 500 back then plus travelling from merseyside to london to get my baby sva'd. so i'd say it sounds good.
it went through as a disabled motor, the best part was travelling about 500miles with no numberplates, but a letter from the testing place saying i could drive it like that. and never got tuggged once.

aha, same engine as the mr2 turbo. but 350 is a good price, and the sva test gets harder each year, something do with trying to stop cheaper cars coming in to "rip off britain".
