Already done a search but didnīt find an exact answer.

Car is wrx01 with complete decat Magnex exhaust (incl. up-pipe) and Green panel filter and deresonated intake.

Should I choose on Tek2 or is the Tek3 worth the extra money for the mapping?

Does someone do a postal Tek for the new age?

Can someone recommend a good EcuTek mapper in belgium or near?

Why is a Tek3 more expensive than Tek2 since Tek2 has to be mapped anyway? Does the mapper use more time for the Tek3? or am I mixing up postal maps (Tek2) with maps done on location?

All thoughts about EcuTek appreciated.

Wink

TARManiAC,

I think you answered the question yourself in the last statement

AFAIR

Tek2 is an "off the self" program suits all cars of the same model and the ECU could be posted to you.
But no two cars engines are the same Tek2 improvemes performance but has built in safety margins to take into account some of these differences. Hence lower power output levels to Tek3.

Tek3 is mapped on your car by a programmer, a one off MAP of that induvidual car. It takes into account of all your enines mods/quirks. Tek3 should give optimum performance and reliabilty. Depending on the programmers ability

IMHO

Tony
