Hello All,

My trusty X Reg Classic Company Car is due to go back to the lease company end of January.

I have showed an interest in purchasing it and after consultation with local scooby dealer have offered 8 grand (71 thou on clock)

So Future Scooby ownership is now in the lap of the gods while I await their decision !!

I mean how much do you think it would fetch at auction?

If it would fetch 6 at auction, I am happy to pay 8 for it as:

I have driven the car from new and know its History

All Services have been carried out by the book

I am having serious withdrawl symptoms and the car hasn't even gone yet.

Hopefully my offer will be accepted.

trade at average mileage 36K I would have thought around 10K but with the higher mileage you may get it for 8K

It will soon need new discs all round and that will probably cost around 600 quid, so fingers crossed.

I have been "lurking" for quite a while but feel its now time to post!!

well after driving a scooby for 6 years (two company cars) and now getting a diesel (thanks to Gordon Brown)I cannot bring myself to part with it.
