Paid 16k for mine (X reg 8.5k miles, no prodrive stuff) 18 months ago (and still smilling), so sounds like a good deal to me, have seen them on forecourts for about 14k recently.

Bought an X Plate MY00 Wagon with leather interior and a few other goodies, mechanically standard for £12,995 at the beginning of Dec so seems about right to me.

Try looking at the Subaru approved section of the Subaru web site, that should give you some indication

Personally i dont mind the few extra pounds for the piece of mind and good after sales care i have received.

For a dealer supplied car that sounds pretty good. I'm about to put my MY00 X plate Dark Blue Mica 4 door turbo up for £10,800 on Autotrader. I'm looking to get £10K for it really. It's done 40K, with full main dealer service history (never raced, always run on SUL/Optimax). It's an EU personal import but is totally standard UK spec, with Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser, aircon, quickshift gearbox, body coloured skirts, side-protection strips, Blaupunkt stereo / 10 disk changer. Buy private, save £2k, get it HPI'd and AA checked, and you should be able to find one still under warranty.
