I spoke to Pete at lunchtime and I understand with his assitance there are 3 more people removed from the list

Then can you explain to me why the SIDC sent an email telling us to take this up on our own and the fact you havnt contacted everyone on the list to offer your assistance, knowing the fact JP isnt replying to everyones emails?

Thats not much of an answer Phil. SIDC should have as a matter of course fought our corner rather than telling us to deal with it ourselves. You know well that some of us arnt being responded to and you knew at the time or very soon after that some of the people were banned for no fair reason. Some of us were even thanked for our input by the SIDC Chairman at the time, but have been left to sort this out on our own with no offer of help.

I am glad some people have had their case reviewed in a satisfactory manner, do you not think the right thing to do is contact all those people who were sent your original mails banning them offering the same help? The initial mail sent was very much a case of you are on your own, this has nothing to do with the SIDC anymore.

Just to clarify my involvement in this matter, I asked Palmers to review everyone's case.

I have not been involved in this review, I do not know if the process is complete and I do not know who is currently in correspondence with Palmersport and who is not.

I received a phone call from Palmersport over the holiday, advising me that 3 people were being removed from the list. I do not know if this is because they were erroneously included or if it is because they have apologised for comments made.

I have contacted those people as I did not not know if Palmersport had also done so.

So did i, they used to hold some cracking tarmac rallies there. I went to the rallies there from 1987 onwards i think. Oulton is a great circuit.

These last 12month's has been "a thorn in the side" for all the Banned peeps, SIDC Commitee and even Palmersport. My wish for 2004 is that this can all be settled and everyone get back to having Fun

Not really Tony, the 28 people concerned didnt have a problem in 2003 until the 4th december when they received the email telling them they were banned, more than 12 months after the original trackday. Most people had put the whole sorry afair behind them over a year ago.

You really need to look into sorting that memory problem out.

I would just like to add that I am one of three who have had their case reviewed and I am no longer one of the B28 (I think that should be the B26 now?) Thanks to Pete Croney for the email.
