Unhappy

I recently had 17" alloys fitted to my UK MY00. This morning I was driving without the radio on and I noticed a strange rubbing noise coming from the rear portion of the car. I stopped the car and revved the engine, but the noise had disappeared. So, I started again and it came back! The noise is only present when the car is moving.

I have 17" P1 OZ alloys with the correct P-zero tyres, 205/45/17.

Strange thing is that the car is driving perfectly, I just cannot understand what could be causing this without impacting on the handling of the car??!!

Should I contact the dealer, or the guy who fitted the tyres?

Mark.

Bloody hope not!

I'm convinced the noise has only recently appeared. When I first had the wheels fitted I spent some time driving around to check everything was okay.

Could it be my rear brakes? I've done 31,000 miles and I'm still on the original pads...

Mark.
