First posting to the group...just wanted to introduce myself and get past the "difficult" first posting.

Moved from a Golf GTI 150BHP to the Scooby.

Very impressed so far although loads of questions...Are there any other STI owners out there that I could tap for help and hints ?

Thanks.

Spaced Scooby, welcome to Scoobynet. I'm another MY02 STI type UK Prodrive owner. Theres loads of us on here, and theres a wealth of information on what is commonly (if not quite correctly ) referred to the STi7. Try the search facility .

Is yours standard? Mines had blitz nur spec R exhaust, defi gauges, Prodrive springs, Whiteline uprated anti-roll bar, anti lift kit, droplinks, tints , 18" Oz's, ferrodo DS2500 pads, and am awaiting braided hoses for it. Not PPP'd as may being going the TEK3 route.

As Andy posted, take it easy and learn how she handles. Theres always loads of posts this time of year when scoobies "let go" in the wet and snow .

Welcome once again.

Mark

Welcome to Scooby ownership, what do think so far?
I moved to an 03 STI PPP from an R32 after about 20 years of Golf ownership. Have no regrets just love the damn thing. Better build quality too.
Just keep an eye on that licence though..

Welcome and would be glad to help in any way I can. I have the one for the first Sti 7’s that hit the UK roads back on 30th Jan 02. Since then the car just gets better and better with 25K on the clock now. Mods so far in some kind of order are ScoobySport upgraded exhaust, Sti white reflectors and side indicators, Sti mud flaps, Prodrive 18" alloys with Good Year GSD3’s, Prodrive Performance Pack, Sti short shift assy, Sti quarter grill inserts, Sti titanium exhaust, dump valve, Goodridge braided hose’s and DS2500 pads all round, Whitleline anti roll bar, Whitelone anti lift kit, Whitleline solid drop links, Powerstation geometry set up, Sti strut braces front and rear, Prodrive headlight conversion, Secs center pod, Sti gear ****, Sti removable goose neck style tow bar, Samco water hose kit & Samco induction hose kit, road angel & V2, Powder coating work to engine bay and bonnet scoop splitter, 02 period Subaru front and rear black sun strips. Car looks well and goes better!
