Just wondering how similar the p1's are to the sti's?? I have a sti6, are many of the parts interchangable??

Yes, loads of similarities, as the P1 is based on the STi5 Type R.

mechanically its more similar to the normal STi5, just in a 2 door shell.

assti, the short engines are the same, luckily for me

some things the sti6 type R has that the P1 doesnt...

STi Group N Low Ratio Gearbox
STi ECU
STi Inverted mono-tube strut pink suspension
STi Competition clutch
Front viscous diff
DCCD (Electro-magnetic driver controlled center differential)
Rear twin opposed piston brake caliper
Inter cooler water spray
Tinted rear windows
Electric Folding Mirrors
Climate control
STi quickrack 13:1 steering
300PS (295bhp)

some things the P1 has but sti6 type R doesnt...

ABS
driving lights
dealer warranty

IIRC mainly cosmetic from 5 to 6, wheels, spoilers, and interior differences
