Internet ordering- where is it?
#1
Why can't I find anyone who has proper internet ordering for Scoob parts?
I want a set of blue side repeaters but everywhere I try is fax or email.
Mucho frustrating.
BTW- how do the side repeaters come off (ie is it easy?)
Cheers

sickboy, what you need is this great bit of hardware I picked up recently, it allows REALTIME communication with all manner of tuning companies, as well as many others, its also voice based which cuts down on confusion. they are availanble from all good electrical stores and simply plug in where your modem does
Its called a telephone and they are available from about £10 upwards.
What will they think of next? I hear they are working on a hand held word processing device that is about 15 cm long and no wider than 6mm they are thinking of calling it a PEN

Paul,
thanks for your advice, but I have not heard of such devices yet.
I'll look forward to Scoobysport joining the rest of us in the 21st century. Hopefully the others won't be too far behind.

ScoobyMania will also be going 21st centure with a ScoobyCart
but in all honesty its a bit limited for the car aftermarket. Lets face it no-one is going to order a set of brakes at £1300+ online are they ?
Your post has confirmed pretty much what I thought - online ordering is good for off the shelf (small) items, clear lenses being a good example, but someone parting with a fair amount of cash is going to want to discuss the mods and get it fitted.
Or am I wrong ? Would be interested to hear from anyone.
(perhaps we should all go to letsbuyit.com and get our repeaters for a fiver LOL )

If you know what you want, and trust the site, you'll spend any amount of cash if you feel you're getting a good deal.
Afterall, some people on this bbs bought their cars through web sites...
