Cool

I know this may be in the wrong forum but saw/heard Scott in his RC Developments tuned car tonight. I know me and RC have fallen out but they have produced an awesome machine with Scott's car What a noise what speed I was in my van and flashed him as he came past

Absolutley F*****G amazing.

Scott, any ideas on power? Any chance of you taking us out for a razz?
Can any of Scott's pals pass on my comments, Cheers

The cars running in excess of 530Bhp and 400+ Torque.

Its currently doing 11 second quarters.

He's just having some hassle with the AFM now, he's going to change over to Autronics managed to dump the AFM.

I'll pass on your regards.

Id personally go the route that Harvey has, its considerably cheaper and much less hassle than the RC developements car has had (plus id perfer someone with lots of experience on my car and the power figures for Harvey's speak for themselves )

True but when scott started on his car, there were no 500Bhp scoobs to look at for advice.

He got there in the end and it would be intresting to get a back to back shootout on the rollers between harveys and scotts.

I believe that Harvey broke the 500bhp mark before Scott, and Harveys car is more reliable than Scotts also (i think it has something to do with who built the engine ) plus wasnt Harveys last rolling roaded at 585bhp? not bad for a daily runner

I think Scotts has kept breaking because of the sheer amount of Torque, he is running 2 bar of boost and a 25g Turbo!

He went through 3 gearboxes before he fitted the dogbox, then he blew the clutch, then diff, then the driveshafts couldnt handle it so on and so on......

It just kept on finding the weakest link, I think he's replaced most parts now for uprated items.

Not saying its better than Harveys, full credit to him, be good to get them back to back though as I said.

585bhp and 464 ft/lbs and reliable. Replacing the ECU at present but if anybody wants to pay Well Lane for my session at the beginning of January I am happy to run back to back. Don't mess about just e-mail me the date and time.

Question

Isnt it about 60 quid per car or the likes?
I know for a fact that the RC car has never seen any other rolling road except their own, thus own bhp figures, and if i had the cash id know which route id take for upgrading my scoob (i feel 320bhp out of the box is enough for me at this moment of time )

Harvey, Scott doesnt have internet access so I doubt he'd mail you. I shall however mention it to him and if he feels up to running back to back with yourself, I shall mail you.

Whomever was asking on the spec, it's got far too much to list and i'd probably forget a few things if I were to try and list it all. Rest assured though if these 2 cars were to go back to back there wouldnt be a lot in it eitherway.

It is a Classic, WRX 93 IRRC.

I didn't RC had their own rollers, must have had them fitted recently.

Spec list I suspect would be enormous just like mine as I had my car developed to a point by the same company. All I will say is that there won't be any **** on Scott's car, like my own their is nothing poor about the stuff RC sell, it's just dear as F**K

I think thats Tony's idea of taking the pish, RC dont have any rollers.

I believe he has measured the power some otherway though.

The car spec is mega, heres what I can recall:

Cosworth oversize pistons
Arrow rods
Metal head gaskets
Cams of some sort
HKS Manifold
Hks exhaust
Hks oversized front mount
Oil cooler
Greedy 25G turbo
AVCR Apexi boost controller
External wastegate
Power FC (to be replaced with Autronic in new year)
Cusco LSD
Dogbox of somesort
HKS triple plate cluch
Uprated flywheel
Tein coilovers
AP's

And prolly a lot more now.

If you'd like to see a pic of the engine bay, it's in Japenese performance mag under RC's advert, Subaru tuning.

What would the performance figures be for a car with this much BHP.

Chip.
