Question

Are they worth it? Would it help with resale value (I assume it would transfer with the car)? My 3 years is up at the end of the month.

Thumbs up

Mark,
Depends if you are a gambling man, I've just renewed mine on my MY00 for another 2 years (£440 cap 60k miles), cost of a new engine or gearbox should something go horribly wrong is gonna be a lot more !!
Only drawback is having to use dealers to service.
Still worth it IMHO.

Ian..

I think £440 for 2 years is worth it , my renewal came through they wanted £400 odd for 1 year ! this I thought was a bit too steep !

...and you get two years extra breakdown cover as part of the £440, that alone would cost circa £200 from the AA/RAC/etc.

That's what swung it for me!

Thanks everyone. I'll have a closer look. Didn't realise Subaru Assistance was part of the deal.

Short time ago I paid £440 to extend mine. If I did it when I bought teh car I would have paid £520 for unlimited mileage rather than £760 that they want now :-(
