A few hours to kill this morning so gave the scoob a bit of a swill down
this involved first hoseing down with warm water to get the ice off.
er indoors calls me a sad bast*** and goes out
ripped my knuckle of on the calliper trying to get to the awkward bit on the wheel so thought sod this i'll take em off and give em propper shine up
er indoors arrives home calls me sad again and she even phoned the MOTHER IN LAW ( cold shiver down my spine ) and hasn't stopped laughing. Am i tacking it to far or is this standerd practace?

please say it is just so i can shut er up!

Just say you saved about 40 quid for a pro-cleaning company to come and do all that so you'll take her out with the money you saved...

Should shut her up

Normal practice, although it may be your fault for allowing too much chain between your wife's ankle and the kitchen sink.
Keep it short they can't interfere then !!

Perfectly normal!

I'd love to buy a used car that had this amount of TLC shown to it!

Nothing at all wrong with taking the wheels off to clean em. Just wish i could be bothered to do it

If you dont get the brake dust off from time to time your alloys will be eaten alive by it.

Sorted Cossie

Go to "specifications" (drop down menu at the top) and hover on the pic at the bottom!

Sorry it's a cossie, but you won't find one cleaner thats used on the road.

PLus the sites under construction, so bear with it

Like wise here, I just took my P-FF7s off for the winter, so they get a full polish and are tucked away at the back of the garage. I then pop on the standard STi8 alloys that were polished when I took them off to put the P-FF7s on the car in April.

I will put the P-FF7s back on the car after it's first service, that way if they mark any wheels it will be the standard ones they have to replace and not my good wheels.

It also means that you don't have to but tyres for at least 2 years
